To be recognised by both our industry and our local community is something we are incredibly proud of.
But these awards aren't really about us. They're about the thousands of people who have walked through our doors over the past 36 years.
It Started in Community Halls
All Aerobics Fitness began in 1990 with a simple vision—to make fitness welcoming, enjoyable and accessible for everyone.
Long before our current facility existed, classes were held in community halls across Hobart. The focus wasn't on having the biggest gym or the latest equipment. It was about helping people become healthier while creating an environment where everyone felt welcome.
As more people joined, our community grew.
Over the years, that small beginning evolved into what is now Hobart's largest independent fitness facility. While our services have expanded to include a comprehensive gym, an extensive group fitness timetable, reformer Pilates, boxing, yoga, recovery services and much more, the heart of the business has remained remarkably unchanged.
Community has always come first.
More Than a Gym
Here are the things members tell us time and time again why All Aerobics Fitness feels different.

- Friendships are formed.
- People encourage one another, celebrate successes together and support each other through challenges.
For many members, All Aerobics Fitness has become part of their weekly routine—and part of their lives. Some have trained with us for decades.
We've watched members achieve goals they never imagined possible, prepare for events such as the Point to Pinnacle, City to Casino and Freycinet Challenge, return to fitness after injury or illness, and continue exercising well into later life. We've also watched children who came to the gym with their parents become members themselves.
That sense of belonging is something you can't manufacture. It's something that has grown naturally over 35 years.
Why These Awards Matter
The two awards recognise different aspects of who we are. The AusActive National Awards acknowledge excellence within Australia's fitness industry. The Local Business Awards recognise businesses that have earned the trust and support of their local community.
Together, they reflect what has always mattered most to us—providing outstanding fitness experiences while creating a place where people genuinely enjoy being.
They are recognition of our members, our instructors, our staff and everyone who has contributed to All Aerobics Fitness since 1990.
